| Abstract: |
| s: The paper presents directions and development perspectives of modern technologies of surface engineering used to increase anti-wear properties. It presents the application of duplex technology for increading durability of selected tools: moulds for pressure casting of aluminium, cold forming dies and forging dies. Types of created composites layer and economic effects of their industrial application were described. |
